More trees blown down!!!  More power outages!!!  BC Hydro is still working over time. The media reported we normally have 3 storms through the winter and we've already had 14 storms now in the Greater Vancouver area!

The Stanley Park Causeway and the First Narrows Bridge were closed temporarily again last night to the frustration of many commuters!  The Vancouver media is pleading with the public to obey the "closed" signs visible throughout Stanley Park in many areas.

“The real estate community is being challenged to help clean up the devastation in StanleyPark, caused by the storms and gale force winds we’ve recently endured,” says REBGV President Rick Valouche.

Greater Vancouver REALTORS® are being asked to contribute to the Stanley Park Restoration Fund organized by Global TV. Jim Pattison has pledged to match every dollar raised by Friday – up to $1 million

The challenge ends Friday, January 11/07 at 7 p.m..
