WEEKEND IN KELOWNA & EMMA'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL

This past weekend Colin, Emma and I went to visit our close friends Keith, Tanya and Paige in Kelowna.Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but we sure mad the best of it.

Here we are visiting a Goat Farm near the Cedar Creek Winery. The girls are dressed to battle the rain and cold. I must say, if you really like goat cheese, don't go visiting a farm before sampling. Boy was it smelly!!

Then from the goat farm we went to Cedar Creek Estate Winery. It was quite small in comparison to Mission Hill but was so peaceful.

We walked through the property and then had some samples of wine. Then of course had to bring some home. There is a beautiful rose garden that over looks the lake, it would be a great venue for a wedding.

During our visit we went to see a new resort development. The resort is called La Casa. At this resort you can purchse individual cabins and live in them or put them into a rental pool. They are A frame cabins that come fully furnished and have great views of the lake. At La Casa you will also find a pool, tennis court, mini golf, a Marina, restaurant, grocery store, playground and much more. So much to do, so little time......

After having a great visit we had to leave because Emma was starting preschool.

She started at Stepping Stone today and was absolutely terrific. Emma has been talking about preschool since March so I am really glad it is finally here. She couldn't wait to get in there and play. We hung around for about 20 minutes to see what they were going to do and then off we went. Emma was so good and didn't even mind mum and dad leaving. Much easier for her than me I think.

She was WAY too busy playing to even notice us so off we went and let her enjoy her time playing and meeting new friends! Now she will go three mornings a week. My, my where does the time go, I can't believe she's in preschool!!
