Home Sells in 3-Minute Auction!
A couple in Calgary agreed to auction their 3-bedroom home. They have 3 children and had purchased a 4 bedroom home, outgrowing their starter house. Their realtor served as auctioneer, and went over the rules, noting a $5,000 deposit would be due at the fall of the hammer. Collected in the front yard was a crowd of 120 people, 16 registered to bid. The home had been listed at $229,000 and sold for $222,000. Can you believe it..the new owners just happened to be driving by and saw the crowd, and "It just happened."
