The Canada Line Stations

In Greater Vancouver the rapid transit line from downtown Vancouver to the City of Richmond is now called The Canada Line.

The terminus at the North end is in downtown Vancouver at the "Waterfront Station." The Canada LIne travels North to Richmond,  splitting at the Bridgeport Station, to transfer either West to The Vancouver International Airport (YVR), or South to terminate at Richmond Centre Station, in Richmond, BC.

Canada Line Stations

The Canada Line Stations are as follows:

Waterfront, Robson, Yaletown, False Creek, Broadway, King Edward, 41st Avenue, 49th Avenue, Marine Drive, (over the Fraser River...then) Bridgeport.

At Bridgeport Station choose West to go to the Airport; or South ... through 2 stations, Cambie Station then Alderbridge Station, and terminate at Richmond Centre Station, in Richmond, BC.

Tunnel Section

From Second Avenue in the North, to Marine Drive in the South will be underground, with the "Cut and Cover" work taking place from January of 2006 to August of 2008, depending on the road section.  There will be a "bored" Tunnel for the Waterfront to the Second Avenue section, and will take from June/06 to June/07 to complete.

Elevated Guideway

The Canada Line will be above ground on an elevated guideway all the way from Marine Drive in Vancouver, continuing South all through Richmond, including to the Vancouver International Airport
